Touristic information

Annecy-le-Vieux
Annecy-le-Vieux is in the south-east of France, around 30 kilometres under Geneva, on the northernmost tip of Annecy lake. Together with its neighbour Annecy, Annecy-le-Vieux has about 60,000 inhabitants. The town stems from the Gallo Roman age. The centre of Annecy consists of many promenades and terraces. There is a lovely Sunday morning market.

Tour lac d'Annecy
The nearby lake of Annecy is 16.5 kilometres long and is considered as one of the prettiest lakes in the Alps. From Annecy you can make various boat trips on the lake. But you can also see it by car. There is a lovely route along the lake via: Annecy Menthon (castle), Talloires (special view from cliff), Le Bout du Lac (south point), Diungt (castle), Annecy. This trip takes consists of about 40 kilometres.

US Annecy-le-Vieux
The organiser of this international youth football tournament is US Annecy-le-Vieux. US Annecy-le-Vieux was established in 1939. It is the oldest amateur club in the Haute Savoie. The club is very active and has more than five hundred members divided over more than thirty teams. Thanks to a cooperation agreement with Olympique Lyon, the US Annecy-le-Vieux players can train within the youth system of the French national champions.

Facilities
The international youth football tournament takes place at two fabulous and very well-maintained locations in Annecy-le-Vieux. The main location borders Lake Annecy and consists of a stadium, three grass pitches, a club house with changing rooms and a snack counter. The second location is three kilometres away. It has two grass pitches, a canteen, changing rooms and a snack counter. The finals are at the stadium of the main location, where the finalists can count on full attendance.
